About this place
A short walk from JR Enmachi Station, Mamosuke offers quality yakiniku at accessible prices, cooked over tabletop charcoal braziers. Seared over the wire mesh grill, cuts range from tender loin and moderately marbled kalbi to deeply flavorful, satisfyingly chewy selections like tenniku (beef cheek) and harami skirt steak. A light dipping sauce complements the sweet fat, making each bite tempting to wrap over a bowl of rice.
Offal is a cornerstone of the menu, headlined by an offal platter combining tecchan (large intestine), hoso (small intestine), premium mino (rumen), and heart, alongside individual orders of cuts like urute (cartilage), korikori (aorta), and grilled senmai (omasum). Drinks suited to cuts with rich fat are well represented, from draft beer and highballs to kettle-served makgeolli and a brisk chunky fruit lemon sour.
For a casual solo meal or an after-work stop, the quick-drink set includes 1 drink, 2 meat dishes, and kimchi. Inside, generous table seating gives groups and families plenty of room to gather comfortably around the grill. The meal can be rounded off with an extensive lineup of rice and noodle dishes, including refreshing cold noodles, sizzling stone-grilled bibimbap, and Korean-style rice balls stuffed with spicy chanja.
